Publisher Description
Drake McGinn turned his back on hockey after the league betrayed him. Will the Titans be his chance to clear his name and take back the career he once loved?
After I made the decision to divorce, my ex-wife set out on a smear campaign against me, telling anyone who would listen that I was betting on hockey and throwing games. It wasn’t surprising that my ex told the lies, but the fact that the media, league, and fans chose to believe her baseless claims was unforgivable. I walked away from it all and never looked back.
Having settled into life as a single dad to three boys, I’m content. I have more money than I could ever need, and plenty of time to do whatever I want, whenever I want, and whoever I want. So when Brienne Norcross, the team owner for the Pittsburgh Titans, shows up at my house with a job offer, I have no problem turning her down. But the no-nonsense billionaire, with sinfully seductive red lips and killer heels that would look hot as hell thrown over my shoulders, won’t take “no” for an answer.
Now I need to find balance between hockey, my boys, and the explosive chemistry Brienne and I can no longer deny. A cast-off hockey player and the league’s only female team owner? I can think of a million reasons why it could never work but can’t bring myself to care about a single one of them. Game on.

Ticked all my boxes
The Pittsburgh Titans us fast becoming one of my favourite hockey series and Drake McGiinn and Brienne Norcross’s emotional journey is a wonderful addition to this wonderful series.
The narration team of Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell did a wonderful job bringing this book to life. They were spot on with all the emotions and their voices were easy to listen too.
Drake has just gone through a nasty divorce and add in the press coverage he got because of the stories his ex wife spread he has walked away from career, his new career is single dad to his three boys but as you can imagine life is not easy with three young boys trying to work out what’s happening it’s their life.
Brienne owner of the Pittsburgh Titans needs Drake on her team and she sets out to convince him to return to the NFL. What starts as a woman on a mission soon turns into a couple falling in love but a relationship with the owner could once again throw Drake into the wolfs of the press. So will they take a chance and a leap of faith….one click to find out.
I have to say Drake is one of my favourite reads of the year, I fell hard and fast for Drake, I adore Brienne so I was happy to see her finally getting a shot at love. I laughed, I swooned and at times I held my breath as I found myself cheering this couple on but what took this book to another level was the relationship that was formed with three adorable little boys.
Outstanding
This series is going from strength to strength. Drake McGinn’s story was a wonderful addition to one of my favorite series from Sawyer Bennett.
Disillusioned with hockey after a bitter divorce that left his career in tatters thanks to a vindictive ex wife, Drake was left feeling betrayed by the league, teammates, fans and the media. Now he is a single dad to three boys and has his hands full.
When Brienne Norcross the owner of the Pittsburgh Titans a chance to return to hockey, he is torn. However she is harder to resist than he expected . Every time I finish a book in this series, I have a new favorite, Drake was no exception.
A relationship between Drake and Brienne complicates his return. There was passion, heat drama and witty banter and chemistry. I have admired Brienne since she was first introduced in the series but Drake, I fell hard and fast for this soon worthy single dad who ticked all the boxes for me.
Drake is one of my favorite reads and one I highly recommend. The narration by Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell was wonderful. Their voices are easy to listen to and in my opinion certainly did justice to this wonderful story.
