**Flawed**
Another great protector romance from Riley Edwards. From the beginning I couldn’t wait to see where Adalynn and Trey’s story was going to take me.
Both Adalynn and Trey feel like their flawed pasts have made them unworthy to be loved. I was particularly drawn in to how Adalynn and Trey worked through their pain and trauma, how they found comfort and strength within each other.
From first listening of Flawed, Mackenzie Cartwright and Connor Crais’ performances had me immersed in the worlds of Adalynn and Trey. Perfect casting.
Their missing piece!
Two individuals who consider themselves flawed both physically and emotionally and try to hide it behind smiles and pushing down their true selves! This allowing others to believe they are ok…
The scene when all of Addy’s trama is revealed is so heavy and heartbreaking! How Trey deals with this and calls those she needs is so beautiful, because whilst he is suffering he show his true self and who he is to her and for her!
They each try to heal each other whilst at the same time healing themselves!
Both show such vulnerabilities that it actually tears at your heart! They are each others biggest support, champion and soulmate…without realising they also need their loved ones.
As always The family and his team rally and allow Addy and Trey to unburden themselves.
During all of this they have to deal with an ex of Addy’s who is unstable and causing angst and when he makes his play all hell breaks loose!!
What I love in this audible is hearing the relationship between Addy and her dad Jasper. I also cheered when Addy calls out the alpha men in her life out… especially Jason!
A must have!!
