Good author for the long drives ...
This is a great audio book for a long drive, and a good one to listen to anywhere. All of Temple's characters are developed, none of them are simple cut-outs, and you get the feeling he has been looking at life with sympathetic eyes and there's even some compassion of sorts for the bad guys. The way the plot brings the characters together from afar is nicely protracted and it's complex enough to want to listen a few times to, so you can get all the details. Everyone says Temple is a master in writing conversation between people, and it's true. A good place to start reading this author, before you go on to 'The Broken Shore', 'Truth' and all the rest of them
