Very ‘women should compromise’ and accept less than they deserve
A lovely, engaging story
My first from this author, and after a slow start, I became totally engaged and invested.
Brilliant character development, lots of interpersonal angst, love and living.
Beautifully set in one of those quiet, eastern Australian coastal towns, I immediately recognised as quintessential country Australia.
Excellent narration and production.
Locking forward to discovering more from this author.
Good book. Awful reader spoilt it.
I’m sorry I decided to buy this as my first audio book. The reader does the most awful personal accents, especially the male characters. They all sound like angry bogan aggressive dour serial killers and don’t get me started on her screeching children’s voices. Unfortunately, I purchased another from this author at the same time..sadly same reader, same interpretation.
Good book. Awful reader.
