for this couple and the secondary characters abd I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Willow Winters is a new author to me but when I got the opportunity to listen to a book I have heard so much about, I jumped at the chance. This book is everything everyone has talked about and so much more and I’m really struggling understand why I have read or listened to more from this very talented author. The narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Lidia Dornet did a wonderful job bringing this story and Charlie and Grace to life for me.
Grace has crushed on Charlie ever since she started frequenting the bar he owns, what she doesn’t realise is the feelings are mutual. On the face of it this couple want very different things out of life but fate seems intent on bringing them together so will fate win, will Charlie and Grace get their HEA or will the baggage that Charlie carries around be just to much for a relationship to succeed......
If you love small town romances this is the book for you, the narrators did a fantastic job with the push and pull of Charlie and Grace’s relationship, they also got the banter spot on and I found myself smiling and giggling through is entertaining listen.
Entertainiing
I have only read one other book by Willow Winters so when I got the opportunity to listen to Knocking Boots I jumped at it. I love stories set in a small town and the narrators Teddy Hamilton and Lidia Dornet did a fabulous job bringing Charlie and Grace to life for me.
Charlie and Grace want totally different things out of life but when circumstances bring these two together, will it be the start of an enduring love or will they crash and burn before they even have a chance? The chemistry between them sizzles but Charlie has baggage and is not looking for a committed relationship.
I enjoyed the slow burn as their romance blossomed and I loved this couple. Despite their outlooks they really do blend well together and I was cheering for them to get a happily ever after.
Both Teddy and Lidia’s performances really brought out the push and pull of the relationship and I found myself laughing out loud at times and was left with a smile on my face when the story ended.
