Publisher Description
In the middle of a crowded bar in our small Alaskan town, my estranged wife snuggles up to me as if we’re still a happy couple.
Don’t get me wrong, we were a happy couple—before she walked out on me a year ago. We were the high school sweethearts everyone thought were destined to be together forever. We thought so too, which is why we married shortly after graduation.
We had a good marriage. Until she left me without any real explanation.
Now, she’s back—and this is the real kicker—she has amnesia and thinks I’m still her husband. Technically I am, although the divorce papers are sitting at the lawyer’s office.
She’s desperate to remember her life in Sunrise Bay but I only want to find out why she left me. Once we conjure that memory up, it’s sayonara because there’s no second chances here. But as you probably already figured out, things didn’t go quite as I planned.

Emotional
Having read the first book in this latest series from Piper Rayne I couldn’t wait to be back with the Greene family in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. This time Adam and Lucy and their second chance at love story is front and centre and what a story it was.
Adam was left reeling when Lucy up and left him over a year ago as he thought they were happy. Now Lucy is back and it appears she has amnesia and thinks that they are happily married. Poor Adam, he is just starting to come out of the darkness that her leaving left him in and now here she is back again as if nothing has happened.
Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose did a wonderful job expressing the emotions and pain that Adam and Lucy go through in this book. Their narration was heart warning and got to me on a number of levels as the story progressed.
Lucy is desperate to regain her memories of life in Sunrise Bay and I had a hard time putting this one down as I had to know what had happened. There were times that my heart almost broke for both Adam and Lucy and although there was humour their was a great deal of emotion as well.
The Greene’s are a blended family and I loved how much interaction there was between them all, regardless of whether they are full, half or step siblings this family has each others back.
The story was fast paced, witty and engaging and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
