Great addition to the series with great narration
Never Look Back is Logan Lawson and Aster Costa’s second chance at love, it’s book three in the Redemption Hills Series and for me it’s a perfect addition to this wonderful series. I was drawn in from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line, I needed to know where Ms Jackson was taking us with this couple.
The narration was spot on and Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber did a great job with all the emotions thus book is filled with. They did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their journey to life.
Aster us in a heartless marriage, she needs to escape and there is only one person she can trust to help her and that’s Logan but can he put their past behind them and will he be prepared to help the woman who stole a piece of his heart or will the hatred from the past win the day….one click to find out. This book has all the feels and it certainly ticked all my boxes, I fell hook, line and sinker for Logan and Aster really got under my skin. The chemistry is scorching hot, the attraction is obvious but it watching this couple come to terms with their past that took this book to another level. Never Look Back kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish as this couple negotiate the twists and turns life has thrown at them. Loved this couple and loved their journey.
Great story telling
Never Look Back is the third book in the Redemption Hills series and was a great addition to the series. It was well written and had me invested from the first to the last chapter.
This is Logan Lawson and Aster Costa’s story and it was everything I was expecting and more. The more I read the more I was drawn into the story that Ms. Jackson wove.
This is a second chance at love story and one that ticked all the boxes for me. Their history is complicated and when they meet again, the sparks are still there. However there are years of hatred and resentment that lie between them. Aster is in a marriage that she is desperate to escape from and she knows that Logan is the only person that can help her. I fell hard and fast for Logan. The chemistry sizzles between them and there were moments where I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading.
Narrated by Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon their voices were easy to listen to and they brought the story and characters to life for me. For me this book is darker than some of Ms.Jackson’s other works and Zachary in particular did justice to this.
Winning Aster in a card came is beyond weird but it is her way out and one she will take. There were a number of twists and turns that will have you turning the pages anxious to see what comes next.
Will this be their chance to come to terms with the past, make peace and embark on a new journey together?
