Interesting read, by a biased author
Juval’s narrative style of blending historical facts while exploring concepts is enjoyable and many interesting points are made about the possible outcomes of the development of AI and the implications it might have if it is manipulated by tyrannical forces.
However I think that the Author is biased and cherry picks data according to his political stance, he doesn’t seem to approach subjects with neutrality, neither he goes about uncomfortable truths like other authors, for example, Gaad Sad or Douglas Murray.
A path forward
A very well laid out argument for humanity to either:
- pause, self-reflect then establish a path forward for ourselves;
- or continue not doing any of that and likely wipe ourselves out of existence.
Leftish bias
Good ideas wrapped with socialist propaganda.
