Customer Reviews
I can't stop listening to it!...
From the heartbreakingly beautiful poem she wrote for friend Eli, at the beginning of this book, right to the very last word, Julia Cameron had me captivated.
What insight and intelligence this amazing woman has... - She describes how multitalented people are berated, and told to do one thing at a time, not 20, by people who are creatively blocked themselves (!!!), made me cry. I cried tears of gratitude and relief, because she described my life, and gave me permission to do what comes so naturally to me. Not one word is wasted by this woman. She is so incredibly succinct, and articulate, as she describes various subjects.
- The challenges of the shadow artist, artistic blocks, other's attitudes. To me, this book was like breathing oxygen for the first time.
