Romeo & Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare’s earliest tragedies and probably the best known of all his works. Few do not know the poignant love story between these two young lovers from rivalling and feuding families tracing the first fresh bloom of their love to their ultimate demise.

This quality production from the Old Vic is most notable for Claire Bloom’s acclaimed debut as Juliet and together with Alan Badel as Romeo, provides a superb rendition of this famous play.
