A must read
No one has ever described meltdowns and the autistic experience of sensory overload to me as clearly and evocatively as you do. This is such an important book for everyone to read. The book was so moving and so honest. I feel like I understand my autistic child so much more now. And I didn’t realise how my whole life has been a masking exercise. Thank you Fern. Your book has changed my life for the better.
