Publisher Description
You’ve heard the story about the wedding planner who falls for the groom?
Well, this is the one where she falls for his father.
And that groom? He’s my ex.
I didn’t realize who the gruff, gorgeous older man was the night he rescued me from a creep in a Manhattan hotel. All I knew was that a hot, bearded stranger with a protective streak showed up right when I needed a reminder that real gentlemen still exist.
(Although he left his manners behind after asking me up to his room.)
It was the hottest night of my life, but I never thought I’d see the former Navy SEAL again.
Imagine my surprise at the rehearsal dinner one week later, when my handsome stranger is introduced as the father of the groom. Even more surprising? What we felt in New York was no fluke.
In public, we pretend there’s nothing between us.
In private, we can’t keep our hands off each other.
The situation is beyond complicated. Zach never even knew he’d fathered a child until recently, and he wants to earn his son’s trust and respect. As for me, I’m looking for a man who wants to start a family, and Zach has made it clear he’s not that man. He’s older, newly divorced, and he lives across the country.
But no matter how many times we draw the line, we keep crossing it.
Nothing so wrong should ever feel so right.

Loved everything about this one
I love my visits to Cloverleigh Farm and I have to say Tempt is one of my favourite reads in the series. This is Milie MacAllister and Zack Barrett’s journey and boy do they have a captivating tale to tell.
Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers were perfect with their narration. They all the highs, all the giggles as well as the lows and they were easy to listen to.
Millie is the wedding planner for Cloverleigh Farm and she is wrapped up planning her ex Mason and his new fiancé Lori’s wedding and as you can imagine that brings a lot of additional pressure and anxiety so when her sister Winnie challenges her to go down to the bar and flirt with a hot stranger she jumps at the chance. Imagine her surprise when the hot stranger turns out to be the man who rescued her from a married creep flirting with her when they were stranded at an airport in NYC…….
What follows is an entertaining and emotional journey as Zack and Millie fight the attraction they both feel, he thinks he is too old and not capable of love and she believes all her ex’s end up getting married to the next girl who walks into their life’s. So can this pair get past their insecurities and see what’s right in front of their nose, will they take a chance for themselves and stop worrying what others think…..one click to find that out.
This book has it all, it made me smile, it made me swoon, I giggled and at times I wanted to bang Zack and Millie’s heads together but what shone through was love and that’s what made this be written story very special. Love the second generation stories from Cloverleigh Farm and I’m excited for what’s next and the audible of Tempt.
Outstanding
Having read and loved the previous books in this series I could not wait to read Tempt. Have you ever started wanted to start a book but not want to at the same time? Knowing that this is the last book in the Cloverleigh Farm series, I really didn’t want to read this book. I loved this series so much and to me and Cloverleigh Farm is like coming home, the characters have become family to me.
The narration by Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers was spot on in my opinion. Sebastian in particular was well suited to Zach’s character. Not only were they easy to listen to but they brought the characters and wonderful story that Ms.Harlow wove to life for me.
From the first Chapter I was captivated by the story Melanie Harlow wove about Millie MacAllister and Zach Barrett. Ms. Harlow’s characters are likeable, easy to relate to, have numerous layers to them and are engaging
I fell hard and fast for former Navy Seal Zach, he was totally swoon worthy and ticked all my boxes, whilst I have always adored Millie, such a feisty, sassy strong, fun yet vulnerable woman.
After Zach rescues Millie from an uncomfortable situation they share a night of white hot passion before parting ways. Image Millie’s shock a week later when she learns that Zach is the father of her latest groom whose wedding she is planning. Complicating matters is that the groom is also her ex.
The road they travel was rocky, with both Millie and Zach needing to overcome issues from their pasts and the complication that Zach has only just found out that he is a father and doesn't want to jeopardize the relationship he is trying to forge with his son.
The chemistry between Zach and Millie was intense as the story progressed and it was entertaining to watch their relationship progress as they found love and happiness.
