Disappointing
I have thoroughly enjoyed all other books by this author but this one is a bit tedious and is not helped by the reading. The narrator uses really silly voices for the characters, especially the men. The sing song inflections are inappropriate for the words being spoken or the context in which they are spoken. The main character “Jude” is very annoying and quite stupid for a doctor. It might perhaps have better in text form rather than this audiobook.
