APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Imagine a world in which not only have the fiercest creatures in mythology turned out to be real, they’ve been weaponised. In Matthew Reilly’s future-shock thriller, the Chinese government has something that people all over the world will come to see, and internationally renowned reptile expert Dr Cassandra Jane “CJ” Cameron is among those in South China to preview the discovery. At the most expensive zoo ever built, the historic unveiling becomes a battle for survival when the star attractions can't be so easily contained. We were on edge even before the action kicked into high gear, as the sheer power of these mythic beasts filled us with awe—and dread. With Rick Orlow's commanding narration placing us right in the heart of the action, The Great Zoo of China makes some of the scariest creatures from the realm of fantasy feel plausibly real and terrifyingly close.
Customer Reviews
It’s ok but.
Nothing new or that exciting. Copy of Jurassic Park and I kept thinking of parts of JP whilst listening to this. Hero gets saved by friendly dragon, etc.
