Publisher Description

New York Times best-selling author Corinne Michaels brings a new endearing friends-to-lovers story to life in the third standalone in the Arrowood Brothers series.

Devney Maxwell has been my best friend since we were 6 years old, but she has no idea I’m in love with her.

Even when I’m on the road playing professional baseball, she’s my home - the only one I’ve ever known. But when I return to Sugarloaf to care for the family farm, I discover she’s trying to talk herself into a life with the wrong man...and I become desperate.

It only takes a single, perfect kiss to change everything.

I have six months to get it right with Devney - to convince her to leave this town and turn that kiss into forever.

I aim to do just that as I spend my days coaching her nephew’s baseball team, fixing up the farm, and loving her with all I have. Finally, it seems like our relationship is secure and we’ll find a way to make it work.

Then tragedy strikes...changing her life forever. She’s needed here more than ever, but as for me - there’s no way I can stay.

I know she’s the one for me, but I might have to let her go....

My fvourite to date

I have a new book boyfriend in Sean Arrowood;I fell hard and fast for this totally swoon worthy man and I will admit he is my favourite Arrowood to date. From start to finish, Corinne Michaels wove a story that drew me in and kept me captivated throughout with this emotional roller coaster of a read. The One For Me will rip you apart and then put you back together and I freely admit that at times I was sobbing as Ms. Michaels put me through the ringer.

Sean , like his brothers, had no intention of ever returning home, however, his manipulating father on his death, left him no choice. Sean and Devney have been best friends forever, they are connected on such a deep level it is surprising that they have not realized what everyone around them has, that they two belong together.

I loved the journey that they travel to get to the happily ever after that they so deserved.
This book is emotional, gripping, a story of love, romance and never giving up. This is a book that you need to read for yourselves and I cannot wait to see what is in store for the final brother Jacob.

The narration by Andi Arndt and Joe Arden really brought the story to life for me.
