This Book the secret garden took a lot to get into and start enjoying it never got very intresting and i would have stop reading if it wasnt for an exam in the end i could not put up if it anymore so i stop reading the boring book and just watched the movie which gave me all the awnsers i needed so i recomend you watch the movie as it is a good story line with has a good message behind it and if u are looking for a good children or young adult book to read i recomend the magic far away tree and that seires!!!!!

It's a good book with a great storyline but the book is a little hard to get into,has some racism but it was written in a racist era I recommend the book to children aged 8-12
