These stories are great. The actor's voice is good, but he speaks so quickly that I found it very, very jarring. Its like he is getting paid by the word, and just wants to get the whole thing done as quickly as possible. Slow down, sunshine!
The sounds of the original Sherlock Holmes - a Must for all enthusiasts!
When you hear this book you will be taken back to the authentic Holmsian world of an era lost. David's voice bought back fond memories of watching the original black and white TV adaptations of Dr Watson's reminiscences. I highly recommend this series of audio books and I'm gradually building my library of them.
Another excellent audio publication, spoken in the accent of the times and the land inwhich they were created.
