Sherlock Holmes Collection

Quite engaging. Was a little verbally fast paced but clearly enunciated so not a problem.

The Sherlock Holmes Collection

I am an avid listener to audio books, but this one was the most difficult and unpleasant listening experience I've ever had.

For the majority of the time, it sounds as though this recording has been edited in such a way that the pause which exists when the narrator draws breath between sentences has been deleted / edited out of the recording. One sentence flows directly into the next - this makes for the most strangely uncomfortable experience ... the rhythm which the human ear is accustomed to hearing during normal speech is completely lost and one is left feeling quite disturbed and distracted - to the point that the actual story being narrated is completely lost.

I definitely do not recommend this recording.

Ther Sherlock Holmes Collection

Sadly I would have to agree, the enjoyment of listening to the classic tales of Sherlock Holmes is completly lost by the awful editing, I can only assume that because it is a sinlge narrator, the change in characters was not possible and therefore had to be "cut and paste" together
