Publisher Description

I grew up in Trinity, Texas. Though fortunate enough to be raised by both parents, life had its up and downs for me and my siblings. My mother birthed 12 children in the world, which there were four sets of twins and I myself am a twin. My siblings and I are very close. My father was a minister and my mother was a minister of music. Both taught us to Love one another and to share that Love with others; we attended church regularly as well. I sang in the choir and during Christmas programs, my mother gave me the chore of reciting “Twas the  Night before Christmas.” Most know this is a very long speech but I didn’t mind it at all. This kept me focused on my relationship with the Lord.

While growing up, I’d have this reoccurring dream of being a leader, where several people surrounded me. I’d look up toward the heavens and see beautiful faces staring at me. I am now certain this dream meant God had his angels surrounding me during my spiritual walk with him. My upbringing lead me to become involved in volunteering within several ministries; one being with a well known Christian television network. The Lord impressed it upon my heart to also be a giver. This is most rewarding because lives are touched and it causes the recipients to meet the Lord and begin to serve him.

I’d like to give honorable mention to my wonderful husband, who has supported and aided me in bringing up 6 beautiful children. He is an awesome family man, and a loving father. Through the years, we’ve weathered our storms with Love and care for each other and our children. I instilled the word into my children and grandchildren alike. God is good.
