Four and a half stars
Although the main character of this series is an adolescent girl the book is more than suitable for adult readers as it involves mature themes, criminal elements and deadly mystery as well as older characters and their spin-off stories. Mui is the daughter of a trained assassin, she was abducted as a newborn infant and raised and trained as an assassin herself. This series tells how she has to adapt in order to fit in with her peers in an American boarding school. Needless to say her curiosity and adventuresome spirit get her into trouble and she needs the help of others, older and wiser than herself to get out of it.
