Interesting twists made for a great read
I enjoyed reading about descendants of Pilgrims and their legacy intertwined with a blackballed actress, murder, home renovations, making new friends of all ages, returning to study, family conflict and a plethora of rescue animals receiving more love than the daughter.
Excellent
Loved it. Kept you guessing until the end. Can't wait to read the next one.

Free iBook. Very light murder mystery. Lacking character depth.
Kit had starred as a cop in 4 series of her TV show until the producers killed off her character and she got black-listed. She returned to her small town to go to College and used her savings to buy a house, but found a skeleton under the floorboards. She can't help getting involved in the murder investigation, and the gorgeous detective on the case, Romeo, is an added bonus.
