Incredible
Loved this book, couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next one!
At times very good, at time very not
Very enjoyable read and some parts were deliciously plotted and contested - the world building was great, which is expected as it’s inspired by Viking history. I enjoyed the mythology of the gods and goddesses too. Characters were also good, but only the main ones had any real personality traits.
The pacing lets it down, especially the beginning and the end. So does the motivations - the plot gets a bit murky, and you just have to accept some choices are for the sake of moving things along. It’s a fun and easy read, and I’ll finish the series.
Couldn’t put it down!
I honestly was spending any moment I possibly could reading this! And when I couldn’t read it I was daydreaming about what I had read as it was so vivid in my mind, like u was watching a movie. Such a great read, highly recommend!
