The experience of female gladiators has often been sidelined throughout history, and as such, Bird’s novel acts like an imaginative corrective. Mila is a strong, stoic, sometimes funny female heroine, that stands out amongst more typically passive romance leads. Between the shocking moments of bloodshed and violence, we loved the tension and budding romance between Mila and Remus.

Amazing!
Tanya, has an incredible ability to hook me from the first few pages. A gladiator’s oath was no different from her “companion series” I just couldn’t put it down. If your looking for a addictive new adventure I highly recommend this book!
