Five years prior to this book's start, 17-year-old Andie Bell disappeared from the small town of Fairview, Conn. Her body was never found, but her boyfriend, Salil Singh, was blamed for her murder after he texted a confession to his father and died from an apparent suicide. High school senior Pippa Fitz-Amobi remembers how kind Sal was, and she thinks he may have been innocent; via her senior project, she aims to prove it. Amazing
It was very well plotted and addictive. I had many ideas and theories, yet the ending still shocked me. A book I think everyone should read.
One of the best books I read all year
This book was brilliant. The actual murder was believable, the crime and how it was solved/unsolved was amazing. Definitely a few things that were “fake clues” or “left unsolved” but it was brilliant. I could not put this down and I would highly recommend it. It was so easy to read, I absolutely flew by it. I’m so upset I didn’t read this sooner.
