A Handful of Rose Petals

A handful of Rose petals is set in Kwa Zulu - Natal South Africa. It will take the reader from the North Coast through the midlands to the South Coast then onto Durban.
Iris was born on a sugar farm owned by her father Arnold Harris on the North Coast. Alas her life starts with sorrow but with her strength of character Iris overcomes all adversities during her lifetime.

She marries Neil Robertson much against her Uncle Henry's wishes. Iris and her four daughters face many sorrows, hardships, and happiness.

Her daughters Ethel, Jane Carol and May, make interesting reading as their lives unfold, with Aunt Martha a most unforgettable character who has a great influence on all their lives.
