A Hearts Cry

A Heart’s Cry is a 150-prayer devotional journey through every Psalm in the Bible. Not the polished pulpit style of writing but from an honest, sometimes broken, persevering woman’s real life. Taking the scripture, from multiple trusted translations including the CSB, NLT, ESV, AMP, and NKJV, opening a woman’s story wide, with panic attacks, depression, personal failures, blended family struggles, and the long work of forgiveness. This is the rare devotional that refuses to keep a safe distance from pain. Readers will find a woman who confesses stumbling blocks and celebrates redemption in the same breath, who prays over wayward loved ones and aging parents with equal urgency. Each prayer closes with a direct, conversational prayer that gives readers language for what they may have been unable to say on their own. The Psalms, ancient and alive, become a mirror for every woman who has groaned prayers she could not finish. These prayers are not easy answers; but honest company. For anyone who has needed permission to bring the full, complicated truth of a

life before God, A Heart’s Cry is that permission.
