Living on the run from a very abusive boyfriend, Jim Davis, Angel lived in fear that Jim would somehow find her. After she revealed her abusive past and fears to Mason, Mason vowed to protect her.

Didn’t like the ending,what happened next ?
Good but...
Great storyline but unfortunately it's pretty badly written. Things kept repeating themselves because of it was in another persons view, the Story jumped around quite quickly and sometimes left me with questions of what happened in between.
For a free book I have no issues with it, it had a good storyline and I did get invested in the characters I'd love to find out what happens next, however with how badly it is written I can't justify spending the money on the sequel, if it was a .99c book I probably would grab it.
New beginnings
The storyline is spoilt by the screenplay-like dialogue. It has very amateurish gramma. I stopped reading it often, then just skipped multiple paras/pages, trying to follow it as a comfortable read. I was not successful and finally gave up.
