A Simplified Method for Studying the Bible: Second Edition

Second Edition

Publisher Description

A Simplified Method for Studying the Bible is designed to assist the student of Scripture in developing skills for studying the Bible. The specific skills addressed include summarizing the material in one’s own words; utilizing the insights of others through using commentaries, Bible dictionaries, and concordances; observing sections and the relationships between those sections; and reflecting on what one has studied to determine the message or messages of a passage and its relevance for contemporary life. In addition to these skills, the book offers some suggestions for teaching and preaching and for continuing to grow in one’s approach to studying the Bible.

Joel D. Wolfe is the registrar and an adjunct instructor at Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. He has an M.A. in Practical Theology from Regent University and a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Liberty Christian College.
