Brilliant - heartbreaking, memorable, sensitive
I approached this book with some caution and trepidation. I initially felt uncomfortable about the inclusion of such a tragic event in Welsh recent history. However, the events in 1966 and the long lasting impact on those in the town, including first responders, were described carefully and with sensitivity. I felt comforted by the fact too, that attending embalmers were contributors to the book.

A sad moment in history, written carefully and poetic. It shows the kindness of embalmers. Trigger warning for readers, goes into detail about death of children.
