A Voice from the Past

"DON'T TRUST THE VOICES," SOMETHING KEPT TELLING KAREN... Who would want to spend a whole summer, in the middle of nowhere, with a relative you have never even met before Fourteen-year-old Karen Snider had to. Her summer was exciting though because she got to switch time periods. When Karen first arrived at her aunt's house she thought it was going to be the most boring ever. It turns out that Karen looks exactly like her aunt's sister, Calandra, who died when she was fourteen. Her aunt is a little forgetful at times and can be a little unpredictable. The ghost of Calandra visits Karen every night in her mirror. For Karen, it is like looking at herself in a mirror. One night, Calandra asks Karen if they can switch places for awhile because the medicine would heal her so she wouldn't die. Karen agrees to, but only until she is healed. They join hands and on the other side of the mirror, Karen steps into the year 1911....BUT SHE DIDN'T LISTEN...
