Nora Roberts - the World's Greatest Storyteller.
Kadra is a warrior - a demon slayer from another world. With her highly tuned senses and Amazonian physique she was born to fight, and lives only to protect her people. That is her duty - something she accepts without question, just as she accepts she will always be alone.
But when the king of Demons escapes through a mysterious portal, Kadra must follow - and finds herself in modern day New York. This strange and dangerous city is a baffling place, even for a warrior like Kadra. And when she meets Harper Doyle, the handsome and sceptical private investigator destined to help her, things become very complicated. And exciting...

Great read,always enjoyed Nora's paranormals.
A World Apart
I usually like Nora Roberts for some light reading as I normally enjoy her books when I do read them but this book was not to my liking at all I found it too abstract, non readable and ended up putting down after 40 pages as it really was no story to it I would have rated it zero but since I cant do that it will have to be 1 star. This does distract from some of ther other books that I really did enjoy such as "the search" "the black hills" etc. I am not normally a mills & boon type reader but for a light distraction I do as a rule enjoy her books. Just because I could not get into this book and it paranormal style (nor her JJ Robb books) does not mean that others will not enjoy it. Personally it was not for me.
