Fine but far from perfect
“I thought I’d let you pick which one we go, too.” There we’re lots of instances of ‘to’ written as ‘, too’ and I can’t believe it wasn’t picked up in the editing stage. It is an error I would not expect from a writer and it tainted the book. Lots of commas where there shouldn’t have been. The characters were easily likeable and the storyline was fine.
