The journey of Adrian’s group across America continues.
This is the second book of the series and reading book one is necessary, in able to follow the storyline. Angie is working hard at becoming the first female eagle, the eagles are Adrian’s elite warriors. Mark struggles with understanding her needs, as well as fitting in with the other survivors. The Mexican mercenaries and slavers are still following the group, determined to take Angie for their own, as well as the other females and children as slaves. Adrian is determined to find a safe place to make a long term encampment, well before winter arrives. The camp is constantly feeling the stress of staying ahead of criminals, as well gaining the necessities for survival.
