What’s a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That’s right. Text. Message.
How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I’m no Dear Abby but here’s a little free advice…
Advice #1 – First, purge your apartment of all things him—by tossing his belongings off the balcony.
Advice #2 – Do not, I repeat do not throw anything out into the hallway because you’ll injure your hot new neighbor.
Advice #3 – When said neighbor brings over Chinese Food do not let him stay and keep you company. It’s awkward when you realize he’s your boss.
Advice #4 – Accept his offer to help you with your side business but think twice before using a date to his sister’s wedding as collateral.
Advice #5 – Investigate who your mystery neighbor is. Don’t trust his word even if he’s the world’s best kisser.
If you listen to nothing else, pay attention to that last one. It’s the most important and will save you a lot of heartache.

Loved loved loved
I absolutely fell hard and fast for Brooklyn and Wyatt and the entire Bailey clan; what a fabulous family they are.
I really love small town romances and found myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight , Alaska community. However it can also make it harder to live in, as in Brooklyn’s case the whole town is aware that she has been left at the altar by her jerk of an ex-fiancee.
When Wyatt moves in to the apartment next door to where Brooklyn is living , despite themselves they become closer. I admire Brooklyn with her strength and determination to pick herself up, hold her head up and get on with her life.
Things become complicated as she and Wyatt get closer, particularly when she discovers he is her boss. The chemistry between Brooklyn and Wyatt is intense and cannot be ignored.
Can a woman form a small town and a man from the big city merge their lives together or are they destined to be pulled apart by circumstances and family duty?
I loved this book from start to finish and highly recommend you one click.
