THE GRIPPING THRILLER FROM THE NO. 1 BESTSELLING AUTHOR
When Ex-Navy SEAL and CIA operative Maxwell Moore barely survives a prisoner exchange that goes explosively wrong off the coast of Pakistan, he realises that powerful, cunning forces have been marshalled against him.
Determined to dig out the truth, he uncovers a shocking conspiracy. The two greatest threats to U.S. security have forged an unholy alliance. For the Mexican drug cartel, it means money, power, and control of the drug trade. But for the Taliban, it is an opportunity to bring the fire of jihad to the heartland of the infidel.
Now Moore and his depleted team must infiltrate the drug cartel in the hunt for terrorists preparing to bring destruction to America's streets . . .
From the remote, war-scarred landscapes of the Middle East to the blood-soaked chaos of the U.S.-Mexico border, Tom Clancy delivers a heart-stopping thriller you won't forget.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Narrator Steven Weber turns in an enthralling performance in this audio version of Clancy's latest novel of international conspiracies, violence, and red-blooded American daring-do. Max Moore is a former Navy Seal who uncovers a bizarre link between the deadly terrorists of the Middle East and the ruthless drug cartels of Mexico. Looking to thwart potential attacks against the United States, Max puts together a crack team of operatives to defeat the two organizations and save the day. Weber immerses himself in the authors' intricate world, perfectly capturing the novel's tone and pacing. Additionally, Weber's characterizations are spot on. His rendition of dialogue sounds natural, and he deftly handles various accents and pronunciations that span international borders. At more than 18 hours, this is a long listen, but thanks to Weber's narration, there's never a dull moment. A Putnam hardcover.

Against all enemies
Another Clancy book that I found difficult to put down. Well worth the read
Against all Enemies ( AAE )
I have read many Tom Clancy books over the years, and in fact I even look forward to picking up the the next one.
Regrettably, Against All Enemies did absolutely nothing for me, as it did not have that Clancy punch, the fast moving style, which we have ALL come to expect.
AAE, in my opinion, just dragged on for what seemed an eternity, minimal storylines and one which Clancy, himself would be disappointed in, especially since it is written under Tom Clancy's name.
