Agile Transition - What you Need to Know Before Starting
Publisher Description
In truth, agile is not a well qualified term as it is mostly misused as a cool synonym for 'reacting fast to changes'.
Throughout our agile journeys we have seen the term 'Agile' used to a point where it is a form of avoidance of due-diligence, while for others it represents a catalyst for innovation. We learned that each situation is unique and must be appreciated without presumption.

Important publication
The agile movement has been growing rapidly in recent times and there has been a significant amount of commentary around the implementation of agile practices within discrete teams. However, there has been little written about what is required to implement agile at an organization-wide level. Tomasini and Kearns are two of the few global veterans at this and it is wonderful to see a publication that starts this important dialogue. They are able to articulate what the difference is between 'doing agile' and 'being agile' and it is the latter that is critical to understand if you want to achieve true agility throughout all layers of your organization - well done!
Excellent overview of a difficult topic
As an agile practitioner managing organisations and teams through the adoption of agile can be pretty frazzling by times. In a few short chapters the number of practical solutions offered up here was excellent.
Should form part of any coaches/scrum masters toolkit
