Terrified. Lost. Alone.
Eric Lewis shattered Alyssa's entire world. After everyone that was supposed to be on her side betrayed her, she retreated into the shadows to pick up the pieces of her life. The last thing she expected was for Cameron Lewis to walk into the skeevy bar she worked in and flip her world upside down once again.
Desperate and unwilling to be hurt once again by Eric or anyone else, Alyssa's first instinct is to run. She's learned through hard lessons, there's no one she can trust. Cameron however, feeling compelled to protect Alyssa and right the wrongs done to her, is unwilling to just let her vanish into thin air.
One brother completely broke her, can the other make her whole again?

Alyssa’s Redemption
I absolutely loved this book. I think it’s probably worth 5+ stars. The story was well written and the characters were very real. Alyssa has experienced a traumatic event. She’s been abused, assaulted and lost her baby at the fists of her boyfriend, Eric, and to top it all off, nobody believes her side of the story. She’s lost everything. The last thing she needs is to hear that her ex-boyfriend’s brother, Cameron, has purchased the bar where she works. Cameron can’t understand why Alyssa is hostile towards him and is determined to re-gain her trust. Karly Morgaon writes in a style that projects her story like a movie rather than a series of words. I could feel Alyssa’s pain, anguish, frustration, distrust and anger. I could also understand the feeling of the other characters, but I certainly don’t condone any of their actions. The author addresses a social issue in a knowledgeable and sensitive manner and shows that love can actually overcome such traumatic situations. I’ve become a real fan of karly Morgan, after reading several of her books. This book is an inspiring read about strength, love and compassion. I highly recommend it.
