Georgian romance at its best
Eloisa James always writes thoughtful romances, often, as in this case, with dark undertones. In this one family influence and poor communication seem destined to result in a failed marriage. Bit this is a story of second chances - and it is Christmas, so perhaps the gorgeous Fletcher and the delectable Poppy do stand a chance, if only they will take their lessons to heart. There are also several sub-romances blossoming which I hope will be the subjects of forthcoming books.
