I really wanted to like this, but by God this was bad. The grammar was bad, the writing was terrible and it needed serious editing. But even if you got past that this book felt like it was written by a teenager. Zero backstory zero character development - just this ridiculous childish way of writing. Even the intimate scenes were so childishly written. We go from her not really giving a toss about her friend being missing to all of a sudden she’s risking her life for this friend and it’s all she can think about. It was just bizarre and completely disjointed. It’s a real pity because the story idea was good, but the execution was extremely poor.
