It's Dangerous to Go Alone!
Mia
I didn’t expect to be deciding the rest of my life at the tender age of twenty-two. Like… Do I need to write a will? Do I want to start a family? What does the future hold? I’m not in the position to dodge those tough questions. Not now—and especially not if I want to see twenty-three. I’m feeling really vulnerable and I need Adam and his support more than ever. But can I rely on him after the hurts of the past?
Adam
I know I’ve made some massive mistakes, but now that I know what Mia’s facing, I’m finally able to come to terms with what’s at stake. I have to be the man she needs, especially now. I have to protect her, be the solid rock she can rely on. It’s time to put her first above everything, even if it means I’m not a part of her future.
Is it possible for our love to survive this epic battle? Or is this really game over?

True north
I found this book very difficult to read because of the subject matter. It was very hard going a lot of the time, very emotional and heart wrenching for others. It really didn’t light up until the very end. I had to read some other stuff in between to sooth my mind and heart before I can continue with this book.
I appreciated how the author treated the issues with empathy and sensitivity, and that she shone a light on the difficulties of cancer and everything else that came with it. Love was definitely a huge part of it all and one of the messages, in my opinion, is that you should distance yourself from those that want to help you, because you will only hurt them by doing it.
On the other hand, I think the next book featuring Jordan will be a lot more lighthearted. Let’s see if that’s the case...
Love!!
