Fast paced
This book is more a short story that hurls itself forward at a break neck pace covering a lot of ground in just over 200 pages.
I felt it could of been a much longer novel as I enjoyed the characters and the plot. It did leave me wanting more and the mech combat was very well written so I will be reading book 2 and 3.
Pros: Mechs, plot, action, characters
Cons: length and speed
Over all an easy and fast read but leaves you wanting more
