Publisher Description
“ Dusk “ fell upon his rickety heart. Five years before his death; 1958 stripped. William Baziotes lured in the deposition of thought, word, and deed. Principles of art had changed with his lust for color. Descriptions of a Cahill run New Deal project provided the threshold for work, wisdom and sacrifice. The only difference was that as the New Deal would supersede; the dusk would fall upon Baziotes.
Each life that Baziotes revealed through artwork created a motive for the eventual downfall of a “great”. As the cubist movement of the early to middle twentieth century exposed many; left to none were the blank thoughts of those less than worthy artists.
