Entertaining
L.P. Dover is a relatively new author to me but what I have read I have enjoyed. However after reading Beginnings By The Sea I will be looking at other books by this author as soon as time permits.
Oak Island, NC sounds like a wonderful place to be based and I was drawn into the magic of this small town. Nyla Clark has started a new life after her divorce in Oak Island and it looks as though she has found new love with Cohen Summer. From the moment Cohen met Nyla, he was drawn to her but he has secrets, ones that need to stay secret.
Such was the descriptive writing I could easily see myself on Oak Island. The friendship between Nyla and Everleigh also added another layer to the story.
However, when Nyla’s ex Miles Henley turns up, complication arise and secrets are revealed? Will it bring them together or rip them apart? Will Miles convince Nyla to give him another chance or will Cohen win her heart?
