Big Aloha

This travel photo book is about Hawaii, The Polynesian archipelago of Hawaii in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is often on a wishlist for many travellers and holidaymakers. One can surf on large, nightly, cerulean ocean waves in the morning, bake on a coral-and-lava beach at noon, socialise responsibly with the green Hawaiian turtles in the afternoon and at the same time look up and admire the snow on the summits of the volcanoes. And perhaps even don a woolly hat and sturdy boots and contemplate the sunset from the Mauna Kea summit having a snowball fight with other crazy travellers and then stargaze. All in one day. In this book, the author presents his first and second impressions about Hawaii (the Big Island), Maui and Kauai from two trips, one in December 2014/January 2015 and the other from December 2016/January 2017.


The books includes personal observations about the life and environment of the islands, some practical information what to see, where to eat and socialise with locals and travellers.
