This book was so worth the wait and I loved every minute of it and yes it kept me up till the early hours in the morning because I didn’t want to put it down. Warlord Maxus came to earth with others to take females for breeding but before this happens Maxus breaks free of the mind control collective that Nexus Six had them under. Vivian is a paramedic that patches up the underground fighters for Snook who runs the streets in her neighbourhood but she’s not happy but it pays good money. Maxus is pretending to be human and fights for Snook who he hates in his underground fight club until he finds his mate Vivian and everything changes for him because he now has something to loose. There are tracker’s sent by the hive to get Maxus back at any cost even taking his mate to be a breeder but with help from some of his friends from the coalition military will they be able to stop this from happening or not and what happens when the Nexus six takes back control over Maxus will his friends have to kill him to survive and what happens with Vivian when she learns about who and what Maxus really is after loosing her brother to the coalition will she still want him.
