Publisher Description
Randy Crawford, an expatriate Canadian living in Panama City, Florida, has died in his seventy-eighth year. Rummaging through boxes of Randy's effects, his grandson Wesley, a philosophy student at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, comes across a recently written multi-generational Crawford family saga spanning seven decades.
A dismembered skeleton has been discovered during the 2010 demolition of the auto repair shop built by Randy's father, Grover, in 1952. How these remains came to their final resting place and to whom they belong are ultimately revealed to Randy, after a retrospective examination of Crawford family relationships ó relationships with the strong-willed and independent women to whom Randy and his son, Jaysie, are physically and romantically attracted.
Was Randy merely writing a simple family chronicle, or was he really asking deeper metaphysical questions about the nature of our relationship to the universe and our creator?
