Black Crow - Wise Learn to Read

Black Crow, 11th reader, is an adventure for the child.  It introduces the trigraph “ack” and digraph “ow.” Many words can be made from these two sounds, such as, b-ack, h-ack, j-ack, l-ack, p-ack, r-ack, s-ack, t-ack, bl-ack, wh-ack, bl-ow, sh-ow, etc.  it is important for the reader to become aware that double and single consonants increase their ability to analyze new words; that is until the first 1,000 words are acquired. Once these 1,000 words are mastered, the child can read anything.
