Wonderfully researched and told
I’ve always thought Bligh was unfairly maligned, so it was wonderful to read this from an author writing the story of Bligh as it should be. The story of the mutiny is one of the most incredible sea tales of all time , though there really was so much more to Bligh than this. A hard and uncompromising man, sure, but one of the greatest seaman and probably the greatest navigator there ever was. Most probably would have been up there with Nelson if not for Fletcher Christian and his fellow mutineers. This is a wonderful book, highly recommended.
