Publisher Description
A body is found floating in the Cooks River.
At first glance, it screams gangland killing. But something's off.
This victim isn't the typical face of organized crime—he's young, squeaky clean, and seemingly insignificant.
So why was he targeted? Is it a message ... but for who? and why?
Detective Inspector Anna Farrow dives into the case, unravelling a web of secrets and danger. As she pieces together the puzzle, she discovers that sometimes the people you trust are not always on your side.
Customer Reviews
Good book, well paced.
This book is set in Australia, and it's great to read and understand places and geography.
The characters are well thought out, and work well together. I would have preferred a bit more length to this novel, as the story is riveting. Having said that, the length here does show the craft of our author.
Give it a read!
