In a world where magic and science sit side by side, and powerful witches are considered necessary aides for all governments, Lizzie Grace is something of an outlier. Though born into one the most powerful blue blood witch families, she wants nothing to do with either her past or her magic.
But when she and Belle, her human familiar and best friend, open a small cafe in the Faelan werewolf reservation, she quickly finds herself enmeshed in the hunt for a vampire intent on wreaking bloody havoc. It’s a hunt that soon becomes personal, and one that is going to take all her skills to survive–that’s if the werewolves, who hate all things witch, don’t get her first.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Blood Kissed is a captivating, paranormal tale from renowned author Keri Arthur. The first book in her popular Lizzie Grace series, Blood Kissed tells the story of a witch who has disavowed her occult family and magical gifts, but finds herself caught up in a hunt for a lethal vampire. Set in regional Australia, Arthur’s novel feels animated, with plenty of vivid imagery depicting the eerie countryside landscape. A fast-paced plot and strange twists kept us surprised and gripped throughout—but what makes Blood Kissed particularly entertaining is seeing Arthur’s playful characters navigating their complex, fantastical world with humour and confidence.

This is an exciting story and a great start to the series.
I enjoyed the mixing of the species and them all working together for a common cause, and the underlying attraction between Aiden and Lizzie.
Can’t wait to read the next one.
As usual Keri Arthur pulls off an awesome tale, love this lady.
Always an entertaining writer, engaging from the first few pages urging you on to read more, the story flowed well, I was so glad there was a conclusion and not a dragged out stay tuned kind of book, but in saying that I am looking forward to more Lizzy Grace entanglements in the supernatural world.
